AHS Chess Club is a group designed to bring students together in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The game of chess is our focus, but we are beginning to branch out to include other board games that utilize critical thinking skills. We are not currently competing against other schools since our focus is to build relationships within our own school first and foremost. Chess Club mandates that students maintain a passing grade in all classes in order to participate and are happy to offer help in order for students to achieve that.
