The driving force behind the Golden Scholar is a commitment to academic excellence. Academic achievement shall be the sole criteria for initial membership and shall play the major role in continuing membership. A secondary factor in maintaining membership shall be commitment to a personal or group goal which requires the use of each intent of the Golden Scholars to provide an organization whose mission is to provide team support to young people in their pursuit of academic excellence and its application and practice.
Eligibility for Golden Scholars consists of any secondary student on a standard program of study who successfully completes the first semester of their tenth grade year and maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.7500 or above every year thereafter.
There are no other requirements or fees for membership.
