For the first time in ten years, the Alamogordo High School Tigers are bringing postseason football back home. The Tigers will host the Chaparral High School Lobos in a New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) home playoff matchup this Friday, Nov. 6, at 7:00 PM at Tiger Stadium.
This historic game marks a major milestone for the program and the entire Alamogordo community, serving as only the fourth home playoff game for the Tigers in the last 40 years.
"As we prepare for Friday’s playoff football game, I want to encourage our entire community to show up and support our student-athletes and coaching staff," said Athletic Director Alan Edmondson. "Our coaches give 100% every single day, investing their time, energy, and passion into our student-athletes. They are doing more than coaching football; they are developing young men of high character who will carry the lessons they learn far beyond the football field. Now it’s our turn to show up for them! Wear your GOLD, bring your energy, be LOUD, and let’s make that stadium ROAR! Our players and coaches deserve to feel the support of this entire community."
Important Ticket & Stadium Policies
Because this playoff game is an official NMAA-sanctioned postseason event, the following rules apply:
Ticketing & Admission: Regular-season passes, district work IDs, and student IDs will NOT be accepted for entry. All spectators must purchase a ticket online. All seating is general admission; no seating is reserved.

Playoff Stadium Rules:
No outside food or drink allowed inside Tiger Stadium.
No large bags or backpacks allowed.
Personal livestreaming of NMAA postseason play is strictly prohibited.

Details: Admission is completely FREE for all community members! Come out for team introductions
of our Tiger football players and cheerleaders, an energetic performance by the cheer squad, and a
special youth meet-and-greet with the football players.
Free Student Tailgate Party:
When: Friday, Nov. 6, at 5:30 PM
Where: Tiger Stadium Parking Lot
Details: FREE entry for students to gather, eat, and build excitement before kickoff.
Spirit Theme: WEAR GOLD! All Tiger fans are encouraged to deck out in gold to flood the stands with color
and show unified support for the team.
