Coming Soon: A Better Way to Stay Connected

We’re excited to announce that Alamogordo Public Schools is launching Rooms, a new way for families to connect directly with their child’s teachers, coaches, and school staff, all within the APS app. Starting in the 26/27 school year, Rooms will become the go-to place for classroom updates, one-on-one conversations, and group messages. This allows us to give you one secure place to stay informed and connected to Alamogordo Public Schools.

🥛 Alamogordo Public Schools is excited to continue offering FREE meals to all kids ages 1–18 through the USDA Summer Meals Program! It's a pleasure to support our local children with nutritious summer meals. 🍌🥪

Summer Grab & Go Meals Mon-Fri June 1-July 30 11a.m. to 1 p.m. per the USDA guidelines a child must be present when receiving a meal/ Sites will provide 2 in 1 meal. 💊🩺New Mexico State University, Alamogordo (NMSU-A), is exploring interest in a three-day “Scrubs Camp” for students in grades 8-12 and 2026 high school graduates who are considering a career in healthcare. Please complete the survey to let NMSU-A know if you would be interested in participating. The camp will be led by current NMSU-A Health Sciences students and faculty, offering a valuable opportunity to immerse yourself in the healthcare field and discover if it’s the right path for you!👩‍⚕️💉

During Scrubs Camp, you’ll learn about the various degree and certificate programs available at NMSU-A, participate in hands-on skills sessions in each of these areas, gain firsthand experience and insights from students and faculty, and more!
