🚗 The automotive program at Alamogordo High School is getting a HUGE upgrade! AHS received its first shipment of automotive trainers. Consulab trainers are top-of-the-line, industry-standard trainers allowing our students to gain knowledge through a guided curriculum, enhancing their understanding and practical knowledge. These trainers are the first step to creating an industry-standard training program, which will be further enhanced by implementing two brand-new automobiles for hands-on experience. 🧰 This is a monumental change for this program as we push to continue making all Career and Technical Education programs top-of-the-line for the students of #Alamogordo! #Allin4OurKids #hereforthekids #CTE #CareerandTechnicalEducation #GoodNewsAlamogordo

🥳 Exciting News for the Alamogordo Public Schools CTE program! A few weeks ago, APS sent our welding instructor, Tommie Armstrong, to an intensive train-the-trainer program to become certified through NC3 and Lincoln Electric to issue welding certifications. Mr. Armstrong just received word that he passed his certifications, and Alamogordo High School is now an official NC3 certification center!!! We are so proud of what Mr. Armstrong has been able to accomplish in his first year of teaching, and we look forward to seeing this program become one of the best! 🏆 #Allin4OurKids #hereforthekids #CTE #CareerandTechnicalEducation #TigerPride

Attention Parents/Guardians of bus riders, the Ride 360 app will be retired on May 1st. 🚌 This spring, the Ride 360 app that Alamogordo Public Schools uses to provide our families with student transportation information will be retired, and an updated app will be available to all users. This new app, My Ride K-12, can be downloaded now in the Apple and Android app stores. You will need to download the new app to access updated transportation information for your student(s). Usernames and passwords from Ride 360 will carry over into My Ride K-12.
